Still having losts of “fun” playing with WordPress which is the software that is running this thing.
I spent part of yesterday playing with the Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) that determines how the site will look and, in doing so, I’ve learned quite a bit about the process. Still have issues like why the graphic at the top is being repeated on the right and why the left and right menus are crowding the postings.
WordPress comes with plugins that are submitted by the users and add new functionality to the product. They have an extremely active and loyal user base and I’d love to implement a number of the plugins but I have a problem. Everytime I activate a plugin, it clobbers the main page (index.php). I’ve got a request for help out in their support forum and I fully expect that one of the users will help me out.
Hopefully I won’t crash this thing again but who knows?
