Through The Mist Darkly

Via Jeroen’s Blog comes a good article from Modern Drunkard Magazine that’s well worth the read.

The first lines of the piece are “Lately, many of my friends are airline pilots. And airline pilots, as everyone knows, are drunks.” I happen to know a few airline pilots and, while they might not be “drunks” in the accepted meaning of that word, they seem to enjoy the beer just fine. They have strict rules about the amount of time that must elapse between drinking and flying and they use the term “From bottle to throttle”.

Back at work after 5 days away. It’s hard to get back in the saddle. I would rather be home doing what our cats do best………
