Back when Hurricane Charley was hitting Florida, I posted a link to an on-going blog.
Imagine my surprise when I get a comment today. Turns out it’s spam that probably found my post by using the keyword “hurricane”. It’s an advertisement for structures that I guess are able to withstand a good storm.
Very clever these spammers.

BYE BYE B52
Some time ago, I posted a link that showed pictures of a massive radio controlled B52. Sad to say, this monster is no more.
Pictures and embedded video of the life and death of this ambitious project.
I REMEMBER RETAIL
I spent a decade or so working in the retail industry. I hated it. As a result, I’ve learned to hate Christmas with a passion (The Passion Of The Christmas?). 12 hours a day of insipid music and frenzied shoppers who wouldn’t know Christmas spirit if it reared up and bit them in the ass.
Every year I watch in horror for the first overt advertisement or the first retail display. Good thing I don’t shop at Morrison’s in the UK.
“My Life As A Morrison’s Employee” is an interesting blog and the writer details the first appearance of Christmas merchandise which happened last Friday. *shudder*
QUOTE OF THE DAY
