TOO GOOD TO AVOID

I know I said I was too busy to blog but this has to be done. As seen on J-Walk and countless other sites today, VP Dick Cheney says that the unemployment figures in the US don’t take into account the fact that “Four hundred thousand people make some money trading on eBay.”

Ok, Dickie. I don’t quite buy the validity of that statement (is everyone who sells on eBay unemployed?) but let’s assume that your figure is accurate. Then it would only stand to reason that John Edward’s response has to be figured into the numbers as well. When told of your statement he said “If we only included bake sales and how much money kids make at lemonade stands, this economy would really be cooking”. So, what is the actual unemployment figure now – 2 1/2?

QUICK UPDATE

No time for blogging today, very busy. It never fails – a short week means you have to cram the same amount of work into fewer days.

Tomorrow, I’m off to watch golf at The Canadian Open at Glen Abbey. Too bad I can’t take a camera and mine is too big to smuggle in. Getting the VIP treatment with access to a corporate tent. Too much golf, too much sun, too much beer, too much food – yep, sounds about perfect.

Check in with you all tomorrow.
