US Pavilion Expo 67
A very grainy photo of the old US Pavilion from Expo 67 in Montreal. Designed by Buckminster Fuller and Shoji Sadao, I remember the first time I saw this. Our family came up from Toronto and spent a week at the world’s fair. I was not quite 16 and to be allowed to roam freely made me feel very grown up. This is where I first smoked a russian cigarette (it sucked).
The US Pavilion was a masterpiece of design and content. Sadly, the outer skin was destroyed during a fire in 1980 and only the skeleton remains today.

Picture taken this morning at about 6:30 using the 800ASA setting on my camera and extreme zoom. I wish it could have been clearer.
