Came across this last night on the train to Winterthur. Europeans, at least those that don’t have English as their mother tongue, have a passion for using English words. Unfortunately, they sometimes don’t take into account the connotations of the chosen word. Can you imagine a Canadian getting a business loan to open a bar called “Titanic”. I don’t suppose they ever run out of ice and perhaps we can ship them Celine Dion to be their house entertainment.
