Micro$oft announces their newest browser “Microsoft Firefox” is now available for download.

Contains features like the “Googling filter” which helps protect you against potential or known fraudulent sites such as Google.com, blocks the site and shuts down your computer if necessary. The filter is updated several times per hour using the latest security information from Microsoft.

Absolutely spot-on parody.

I’d had comments turned off here for a while because of the all the spam that hits (100s a day) but I decided to turn it back on.  Turns out that one of the WordPress plugins that was meant to try and weed out the crap was actually causing problems.  It’s been disabled so, if you’re feeling chatty, try and leave a comment.

Every Canadian student recited this poignant poem when I was growing up.  Written by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae a Canadian doctor who served in World War 1, it commemerates the thousands and thousands of brave soldiers who gave their life in the “War to end all Wars”.  Sadly, many more have died since then on barren battlefields around the world.

At 11 o’clock this morning, all Canadians will observe a moment of silence to honor those who have fallen and those who continue to serve. On our lapels will be the poppy.  In gratitude, in rememberance.
