Strange story of the day.  Two groups of Greek monks attacked each other causing 7 injuries.

Today’s award goes to the grandmother who put her 1 month old grandson through the X-ray machine at Los Angeles’ LAX airport.

In second place are the screeners who didn’t notice until the baby was half-way through the machine.

From the article comes this obvious comment:

“Rather than focus on the radiation dose, which is a small amount, we need to focus on why this happened, so it doesn’t happen again,” said Dr. James Borgstede, a diagnostic radiologist at Penrose-St. Francis Health Systems in Colorado Springs, Colo., and president of the American College of Radiology. “Human beings weren’t meant to go through those things.”
