George Lucas was the grand marsahll for today’s 118th Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena. 200 members of the fan-based “501st Legion” left their parents’ basements to march in his honor.

Too bad they can’t put this much effort into getting laid.

Here we see Emperor Lucas saluting the troops before sending them off to find the droids.  Amazing that the popularity of the Star Wars films continues even after the disappointment of the last few episodes.  I mean, Jar Jar Binks – what the hell were you thinking George?

2006 has been kicked to the curb and 2007 still has that new car smell.  The horizon is endless just waiting to be filled with new experiences.

It’s just after 7am here in warm wet Brampton.  Winter is still to come but not this week.  I didn’t make any resolutions so I haven’t broken any yet.
