Another Photoshop experiment. This one is to simulate the “Orton Effect” that was popular back in the darkroom days. Back then, the effect was produced by overlaying 2 negatives – one slightly out of focus and the other correct. Photoshop achieves basically the same effect by grouping a number of layers so that certain attributes are applied to each and then “flattened” to produce the final effect.
