A Colgan Air Bombardier Q400 operating as Continental Connections flight 3407 on approach to Buffalo Airport crashes in the town of Clarence Center New York killing all 49 onboard as well as one person on the ground.  Investigation pinpoints the cause as pilot error.  The aircraft suffered a stall and the pilots’ actions made the situation worse resulting in the crash.  Questions about the pilot’s competency and crew fatigue were also raised.
