aviation history

March 2, 1969. First flight of [[Concorde]].  The most beautiful passenger airplane ever conceived and flown.  With significant contribution from engineers like Dr. James Floyd, who also developed the AVRO JetLiner and CF-105 Arrow, the British/French developed Concorde still stands as one of the most impressive projects ever completed.

For 27 years, ending in 2003, Concorde brought the promise of what could be to the skies.  This video was released by British Airways.
