My name is Ken Mist and I thank you for visiting.

I live in Woodstock, Ontario, a small city between Toronto and Detroit. My wife, Jan, and I have a small house that we share with a very spoiled cat.

Aviation photography and indeed anything aviation related is my passion.  You can see my pictures over at my other website kenmist.com .  I love travelling around North America attending air shows and aviation events.  The yearly pilgrimage to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture is the highlight of my year.

I keep busy by putting in some time at Upper Thames Brewing Company, a craft beer brewer that makes some of the best small batch beers you’ll ever try.

I’m a member of a number of museums and groups that celebrate our aviation history.  A few are:

  • Jet Aircraft Museum
  • Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
  • Vintage Wings of Canada
  • Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association
  • EAA
  • EAA Vintage
  • EAA Warbirds
  • Canadian Aviation Historical Society
  • Warbirds Canada

Thanks for dropping by.  Facebook and Twitter links are available on the home page.

  1. Hi Ken!

I like your first Utube video. No worries about the wind noise, it adds to the realism of it all. Great pics too. We’ll see each other soon! diana

  2. Your comment on the B-17 Memphis Belle is incorrect. Memphis belle was the THIRD bomber to complete 25 missions. B-24 Hot Stuff was first and Hell’s Angels was second.
